Our commitment is to resolve all issues effectively, timely and with the best possible outcome for all concerned.

Unless otherwise negotiated these Terms & Conditions form the basis by which Stone Freight Solutions conducts business.

Employment of a candidate introduced by Stone Freight Solutions shall be deemed as acceptance of these terms & conditions unless otherwise negotiated and agreed in writing by Stone Freight Solutions and the client.

Effective 01-07-2005 All permanent placements are guaranteed for 90 days.

YOUR GUARANTEE

The right staff for the position described or we find an appropriate replacement for no extra cost!

YOUR GUARANTEE PERIOD

All permanent placements are guaranteed for 90 days from commencement of employment (excluding temporary/contract staff) provided you follow these simple conditions.

  • You notify Stone Freight Solutions of any issues pertaining to that employee including dismissal/resignation prior to the end of the guarantee period.
  • The reason for termination of the employee does not include – change of job description / restructuring / redundancy / discrimination / any form of work place harassment.
  • Fees and charges are fully paid in accordance with our payment terms.
  • Replacement of staff within the guarantee period shall be of equal value unless otherwise instructed by the client in which case any difference shall be calculated as per our schedule of fees and any additional cost is the responsibility of the client.

YOUR GUIDE TO OUR SIMPLE FEE SCHEDULE

Temporary/Contract Staff As Negotiated 10% of Stone Freight Solutions Fee only To be calculated
  • All fees are charged in accordance with our fee schedule unless specifically negotiated and advised in writing.
  • Stone Freight Solutions trading terms are strictly 14 days (Permanent Placements) and 7 days (Temporary/Contract Placements) from commencement of employment.
  • Should a client engage directly or indirectly with our candidate as a result of our verbal or written introduction we will be entitled to our scheduled fee.
  • For calculation purposes salary will include – Gross Salary / Superannuation / Allowances / Motor Vehicle Allowance.

YOUR GST RESPONSIBILTY

  • All fees are exclusive of GST unless specifically indicated or negotiated.
  • The client is responsible for GST incurred on our fees as per our Tax Invoice to the client.

TEMPORARY/CONTRACT STAFF

  • There is no guarantee period for temporary or contract staff. Should a temporary/contract staff person not perform to a reasonable standard then Stone Freight Solutions will seek to appoint a reasonable replacement.
  • You will receive an Invoice for temporary/contract staff on a weekly basis in accordance with our schedule of fees.
  • All temporary/contract staff are paid on a weekly basis in accordance with a time sheet provided and signed as accepted by an authorized person of the client.
  • Wages / Superannuation / Workers Compensation / Payroll Tax are inclusive as per our schedule of fees for Temporary/Contract Staff.
  • Calculation of hourly rates for Temporary/Contract Staff are in accordance with applicable industry State Awards as revised and amended or as negotiated by the client.
  • Temporary/Contract Staff and our Client are provided with a contract agreement.
  • In the case that a Temporary/Contract Staff person is employed either directly or indirectly by the client either during or after the specified tenure or within 6 months of the completion date then Stone Freight Solutions is entitled to the full fee as per our schedule of fees and the Terms & Conditions will be binding.
  • The client is ultimately responsible for the Temporary/Contract person and Stone Freight Solutions will not be liable for any losses irrespective of the nature of such loss as a result of the Temporary/Contract Staff person failing in any capacity during the tenure or as a result of the client failing to provide a safe working environment in accordance with OH&S standards.
  • Should the client by it’s own decision entrust the Temporary/Contract staff person with anything pertaining to the client and it’s business then the client accepts full responsibility and liability for any losses / damage / misappropriation resulting.

YOUR PRIVACY

Stone Freight Solutions considers the personal information provided about you to us as privileged information and as such we protect this information and ensure the integrity of your privacy.

  • Stone Freight Solutions acts in accordance with the appropriate National Act/Principles pertaining to Privacy in relation to your personal and sensitive information as provided by you or gathered from referees / previous employers and colleagues / any test / any lawful inquiry.
  • Any information gathered by Stone Freight Solutions is only disclosed in direct accordance with such Principles or in relation to assisting your future employment except when we are required and bound by law to release such information.
  • You have a right to view and request a copy of such information as held by Stone Freight Solutions via written request to Stone Freight Solutions.
  • All personal and sensitive information is stored either in hard copy and or electronic format and Stone Freight Solutions engage appropriate security measures to protect unauthorized access.
